After
years of constant playing and waiting for the perfect line up of members
to slide into place, L.A. based cowpunk band Custom Made Scare came
out of the gate kicking, snarling, and spitting. Just before the prison
release of singer Charlie, the band's debut record, "The Greatest
Show On Dirt" was released on Side One Dummy Records. Within
a Week of both releases, the band was on tour with Zeke and wreaking
havoc all over America. A
combo of Angus Kilmeister meets Johnny Cash, the band has done shows
and tours with such bands as Jerry Lee Lewis, Royal Crown Revue,
The Reverend Horton Heat, Mike Ness, The Supersuckers, Suicidal
Tendencies, The Suicide Machines, D-Generation and Speedealer to
name a few.
Finally... After
3 years of trials, trouble and tribulation, out of the trenches
of L.A.'s stenches Custom Made Scare comes with a follow up album
to "The Greatest Show On Dirt". The band obviously knew
it would be hard to match the power and intensity of the first record,
but has somehow pulled it off with "The Show Must Go Off".
Keeping to their
own brand of trucker cowpunk, the album doesn't let their loyal
fans down but also opens them up to a new genre of fans with some
new "obviously matured" material. The band Starts up the
Engines Again with a tour of The southern U.S in August. and a European
tour in October!
Get ready Race
fans! Custom Made Scare is back on track!
